Tried repair link as per my question yesterday, but this has not resolved the issue that AVG Ultimate says I should update my new programme!! Also, is AVG Driver Updater an AVG product, it keeps telling me my drivers are out of date and that I need to pay a subscription in dollars! Is this a real product or a scam and do I need this to resolve my issue?

The AVG Driver Updater is a genuine program from AVG. If you do not wish to purchase this product, you can simply uninstall this from your computer. To fix the AVG Ultimate issue, we suggest you to completely remove and reinstall AVG and that should fix the issue.
