AVG ULtimate Not working

I just purchased and downloaded AVG ultimate... it will not open when I click on the desktop icon.  Additionally, I show "no subscriptions" when I open my dashboard to my account. 

What's going on... $$$'s for nothing? 

 

Thank you for your response… I was able to "fix" my software by going to control panel and "repairing it"; BUT I don't understand your statement about my subscription; i.e., "the subscription has been purchased from a reseller. Once THEY  synchronize the license with your account, you'll be informed about the same via email."   Are you telling me BEST BUY (the reseller) is responsible for syncing my software??? That makes no sense at all.

It would seem that once I logged on the the AVG site, downloaded the software and entered my code that AVG's systems/computers would be the responsible venue to sync my account/purchase.  

Jeanner, AVG subscriptions purchase from reseller won't reflect in My Account.
Your case was transferred to our concern team and they will synchronize your subscription to reflect in My Account. ("They" is referring to our concern team and not Best Buy).
This query is only with the My Account website and you can activate your subscription, by entering activation code inside the AVG program.
