AVG Ultimate(Paid Version of Antivirus Package)

Thank you so much for your suggestion, regarding checking on other security software that may be installed. I did not find that to be the case, and I'm hoping you have another suggestion? I checked my "installed programs" area, but perhaps something else is hiding in the background?

I'm having a recurring issue with receiving an error message that says "This installation of this AVG product is defective…reinstall again." I have reinstalled the program three times now, and I continue to receive this message. (I have rebooted each time, of course.) Does anyone know why this is occurring? Better than that, how I might solve the problem?

This error is generally caused if you have any other security software installed in your computer that is conflicting with AVG. Please check if there is any installed and remove the same. You can install the latest version of AVG Ultimate from this link http://files-download.avg.com/inst/mp/AVG_Ultimate_761.exe

Also, would Lenovo "Rescue System" be considered security software? This came with my computer and has been there for quite some time, never creating a problem.
