Hello Greg,
Thank you for contacting us. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused by AVG program. You can disable the AVG system tray notifications as per the steps below:
Open AVG.
Click on Options menu and select Advanced settings.
Then un-tick the "Display system tray notifications" option to stop the notifications.

I continually get pop up notifications of the tasks that my avg ultimate have carried out on my computer, how can I turn these annoying pop up notifications off, please? Thanks in advance,

Greg, For your info, just in case that you are unaware, you can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

Yeah that doesn't do crap. I have that unchecked and still every day for the past week I come home to nagging pop ups to things I'm honestly not interested in. I would like to make them stop.
