AVG Ultimate running on Mac - mystery .sh files

I’m a long time user of AVG Ultimate. I have just switched from PC to Mac and installed AVG.

It’s running fine but tonight I’ve noticed there are some .sh files listed in my Mac settings under ‘Login Items and Extensions’ namely autouninstall.sh, init.sh, update.sh, userinit.sh. They are all listed as items from an unidentified developer and it’s this that concerns me slightly. I’m fairly sure they are legitimate AVG files because I can see references to AVG or Avast imbedded in the code.

I would however be more comfortable if someone could confirm they are legit?

I obviously don’t want to disable them as it will likely stop AVG from working properly.

I got an answer on the Apple forum. Several members suggested I didn’t need AVG and I should remove it anyway. So I did and the mystery files disappeared with it.
