My scheduled scans are not taking place at the scheduled times and I am making sure the laptop is on at the times… I have uninstalled and reinstalled but still they don't start. If I click "scan now" they work OK but do not show in the scan history. Any ideas would be welcome.

1. Open AVG Geek Area https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en&urlname=AVG-Antivirus-Geek-Area
2. Locate the name of the scheduled scan and uncheck options "Do not start the scan if running on batteries" and "Pause the scan if batteries mode begins"
