AVG Ultimate Update Disaster

Ever since the update in the spring AVG Ultimate on my main desktop has been dysfunctional.  Immediately after the update it blocked my NAS.  After several attempts Tech Support got that working, Recently it has started blocking Go to meeting and other programs that access the internet.  The latest update is the last straw.  I had coexisted with AVG Zen and had been able to convince the firewall to let the programs I needed work.  Last night in frustration I uninstalled AVG Ultimate and reinstalled it.  If anything the latest install is less functional than the prior crippled version.  What really infuriates me is that a new machine that I just built is running with AVG Ultimate with no problems.  Just before posting this, I uninstalled AVG Ultimate again and Let Windows Defender be in control.  Go to meetiing worked flawlessly!  Sign me a dissatisfied Customer.

Hello Leonard,
I apologize for any inconvenience or frustration this may have caused you. The issue might be because of AVG Firewall network types, which is public by default. However, if you're using private network and AVG Firewall network type is public then it may block your internet websites/application. In this case, I request you to install AVG Ultimate again on your computer (http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Download-and-install-AVG-Ultimate) and I request you to change AVG Firewall network profile to private (open AVG Internet Security > menu > settings > components > firewall > customize > network profile > change all the network public to private), please go to Firewall customize settings again > scroll down > click on system rules > enable all the system rules if it's not configured, please click OK and check if you can access all the websites/NAS with enabled AVG Internet Security.(1/2)
