AVG Ultimate- will not update

I understand the inconvenience.
For AVG my account showing as "no subscriptions" is actually the issue with my account server and it can be resolved by our sales team.
I will help you with that once we fix the issue with update.
Please provide the screenshot of windows error message that appears for AVG update to assist further.

You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
  1. Whenever I start the computer I get this error message,
    "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item." so I have not been able  to update  the programme…
    2.  My Account page shows I have no products but my order page shows I have AVG Ulitmate till 24th June 2018…
    With the screenshots how and where do I send them to you.

Thank you for the screenshots. It seems that the program got corrupted when trying to update the latest version. 
I would request you to follow the steps in this article http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-troubleshoot-issues-after-upgrade-to-the-latest-AVG-antivirus-product to reinstall AVG Internet Security by running AVG Remover and AVG Clear tool.

Note: Run AVG Clear tool first and then AVG remover.
