AVG Ultimate/Zen shows Web Tuneup not activated

Hello Michael,
We regret for the inconvenience caused. Please uninstall AVG web tuneup as described in this article http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-uninstall-AVG-Toolbar-homepage-and-Secure-Search-from-your-browser . Then make another web browser as your default browser and re install AVG Web tuneup on that browser. Please let us know if the program works fine on another browser. Thank you.

Why does AVG Ultimate/ZEN show Web Tuneup not activated in Mozilla Firefox, yet when you look at the options, version 4.2.2.127  is installed and 'disable and remove' buttons visible indicating it's active.
