AVG unable to Log in - unable to receive help by phone

I am very upset.  I keep receiving emails telling me my account is coming up for renewal and it is on an automatice billing system.  I have a 2 yr contract.  I tried to log in, it tells me I have nothing in my account. I called by phone (spoke to Rose) to renew and they want me to renew now with a different amount then my email is telling me.  I asked again, how do I fix my account.  Rose is unable to tell me, saying I have to call in to renew.  What is the purpose of having an account and not being able to renew. If I lose my activation code, I cannot log it ot get it. I created a new account just to discuss this.  
If I have to go through this just to find my account, what happens if I have a virus and don't have a computer! There is NO Phone Number for support! It tell you to go to the website!   Maybe it's time to find a new virus protector.  I love you guys but this senior very upset.
