The machine is a PC, operating with Windows 10 (64 bit). Two days ago, the MS Outlook stopped functioning–unable to receive email. I performed full scan–no problems. I turned off the email shield and everything works. Is there a solution, so that I can again turn on the email shield? Thanks, John
Bhuvaneswari and Alan, thank you for the responses. I have tried the repair process twice, with no success. I turned on the email shield, did the repair and then did reboot. When I checked AVG after the reboot, the email shield was turned off. I turned it on. Alas, the same problem–unable to recieve email with the shield turned on. When I turned off the shield, I was then able to receive mail.
MS Outlook simply reports (when the shield is turned on) that it is unable to connect to the server.
Any help would be appreciated.
