We regret for the inconvenience caused. Please be informed that the issue might occur due  to corrupted Windows installer service. We kindly request you to run the tool : http://files-download.avg.com/util/tools/AVG_WinInstallerFix.exe and check whether it resolves the issue.

I have tried to install AVG PC TUNE UP as part of the AVG ZEN package.  I keep receiving error code 0xc0070641 which is described as a general error.
     I had uninstalled AVG 2013, Link Scanner and TUNE UP UTILITIES 2009 from my PC prior to installing AVG UNLIMITED.
     Even with uninstalling using the AVG removal tool and then reinstalling AVG UNLIMITED the same error code reappears.

     Any help would be appreciated
