AVG Update Caused HP printer to no longer print

Hi Alan,
Disabling AVG per the instructions in the first link enabled printing to be completed successfully.  However, disabling individual components (after reenabling AVG) failed to identify any specific module as the culprit; the error occurred with each individual component disabled.  I ran SysInfo.exe and sent the output to AVG.  Awaiting further advice.

Hello,

I have a Windows 8.1 computer that prior to the last AVG update printed to my HP laserjet with no problem.  Now after the last AVG update, it no longer prints correctly.  I get an error "Error: IllegalTag File Name: kernel.c Line Number: 1921".  My Windows 7 computer continues to work fine after the last update.  I have checked all computers on the network, and the AVG Firewall has Printer Sharing enabled in all cases.  When I uninstall AVG, printing works correctly, but fails again upon reinstallation of AVG 2015.  Tried updating the print drivers, but no help.  Any suggestions?
