It seems that e-mail clients can't handle AVG's certificate - please try this steps "Open AVG > Menu > Settings > Components > Email protection > Customize > SSL scanning > Export Certificate" and then apply exported certificate in the e-mail client. Other option is to disable scanning of e-mails using SSL encryption "AVG > Menu > Settings > Components > Email protection > Customize > SSL scanning > uncheck "Scan SSL connections" option". Hi my AVG virus protection updated yesterday, i use windows 10 and windows live maill to access my emails my Gmail account will not now work my Bt address is fine If I disable the avg email protection my emails are fine I am getting the runaround from Avg support
is this a known upgrade problem?
I have a similar issue with my email client. As soon a AVG updated my email would not download any email. it gave ssl certificte errors
