Hi
I AVG Internet Security (Full,5 licenses), licensed until June 2020 installed on my Windows 10 home computers. I have used AVG protection for years and never had any problems until now.
Today, after one of those unwanted restarts that Windows 10 does, I received a warning that I am not fully protected because updates are required for the Computer Component of AVG.
I clicked on "Fix Now" and AVG reported "Update completed successfully"
But the warning persists, even after several restarts and several repeated attempts to "FIX Now"
What's going on?
I have the same problem, I have tried the repair, the problem still exists, how do I remove and re-install

Hi again
I followed the directions given by Balasubramanian.
The "Repair" tool did not correct the problem
I then downloaded and ran AVG_Remover.exe, followed by AVG_Clear.exe, then finally reinstalled using a freshly downloaded avg_internet_security_setup.exe.
Reinstalling AVG seems to have fixed the problem but of course I lost all of my exceptions and other rules. needed to run my network effectively. It would be nice if these could have been exported prior to reinstallation.
I was surprised to find that re-entering my original license key did not effect the "trial" expiry date of 29 September 2018. I had to login to my AVG account to find that a new key had been generated, which, once entered, corrrectly set the expiry date to June 2020. Again it would have been nice if I had been forewarned of this.
Nonetheless, thanks for your assistance
