AVG Update problem

We will check with it. Please share the screenshot http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-create-a-screenshot of your AVG user interface where it prompts to update and let us know its version.

Open AVG Internet Security -> Menu -> About -> check its version.

When I run AVG  update in runs to 25% complete, stops flags that but dashboard says update required and shows that I am unprotected
Any advice?

John, you're having the older version of AVg programs. Hence, you're facing issue. 

We recommend you to remove the exisiting programs and install the updated version of AVG programs as mentioned earlier.
