It looks like the AVGFree is running normally on my desktop now, but the same update took place on my laptop 2 days ago. and ran the same way as it did after the update on the desktop as explained above. I am going to wait and see it it corrects itself in the next couple of days. If it does not I will send you screenshots.

If you are using MacBook, please tell us the Mac OS version and use the below instructions :
To take a screenshot in MAC, please follow the below instructions : 1. To capture the entire screen, press Command-Shift-3. The screen shot will be automatically saved as a PNG file on your desktop with the filename starting with “Picture” followed by a number, example Picture 1, Picture 2, and so on.
2. To copy the entire screen, press Command-Control-Shift-3. The screen shot will be placed on your clipboard for you to paste into another program like PowerPoint, Word, Photoshop, etc.

AVG just did a program update. I did do a scan but it will not let me "resolve" the malware it found or allow me to "Delete" the items in Quarantine.
