My AVG is causing major problems.
It complained that it is not up to date. When updating the AVG said update failed.

Now it is blocking access to outlook, will not update. It will not allow me to uninstall either.
What am I to do to get this fixed?

Sorry to know that you are not able to update AVG.
Please run AVG remover tool based on your OS (32-bit or 64-bit) to completely remove AVG and then re install. To determine whether your OS is a 32-bit or 64-bit, please click on this link. http://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/827218

Thank you for the information.
I followed it exactly.
End result after all that is that the update failed.
There is no problems with my network connection. As a matter of fact it is really fast one.
Is there any other way to get rid of the application?
