i updated my avg free antivirus on 7 september 2017 to version 17.6.3029 and restarted pc, then i found its impossible for google chrome browser to open ! so i tried firefox that also wont open, so i tried internet explorer which also fails to open…im on windows 7, so i unistalled chrome and used system restore to roll back a few days, then i got latest chrome browser…can avg check what happened ??
Dave, I understand that you have restored your computer to the previous point because the recent update of AVG caused some issues with your browser. Did you check if AVG working fine after the system restore, if it is working fine, then you do not have the worry, as we are aware of this update issue and have already escalated to the developer team. A new update will be released soon.
