From your description, it seems that the installation process got stuck. Please restart your computer once to check.
You can force shutdown the computer, if it doesn't allow you to restart.
I bought an upgrade package for my laptop, which covers up to 10 other devices, it loaded successfully onto the laptop; however on the PC it is stuck at 99% on the firewall and i'm now unable to access my PC at all, i cqnnot delete it to restart it has turned my PC into a load of junk, and i don't want to have to call out a tech. How do i resolve this. Windows 7 home premium.

In this case, I request you to remove the traces of the application using the AVG Clear

I have tried shutting down several times; however it always returns to the 99% installed, but I will try again tomorrow, when i tried to uninstall it will not let me, the message states it is still installing.
Won't uninstall, still at 99%, in safe mode have a message. UI failed to load. This is really embarrassing. Your protection is running, but the UI is having a really bad day,
The uninstall won't work as the computer says it is not fully installed.
