NOT SURE THIS IS THE CORRECT CATEGORY
Turned on my computer and AVG free ver. 22.10.3258 - build 22.10.7633.757 has a red x and tells me my virus definitions are outdated, I click the update now button, it checks for updated definitions says it is installing and puts the virus definitions release date was November 17, 2022 12:25pm (ver 221110-6) But also says Your virus definitions are not up to date and I'm not protected. This is the 2nd time in a week this has happened. Last time I finally just installed a new version of AVG which did some crazy thing, can't remember now what it was, but I shut off the computer because it was sleep time and when I turned it on the next day everything was fine. Now today I'm right back to virus definitions out of date though they are actually dated today.
What is going on?
