Looks like future AVG updates require upgrade from Windows 7.    

I very much want to remain on Windows 7.  I prefer to get no upgrades to AVG if that is what it takes. 

Do I need to take any action, or notify AVG in some manner?

I can't figure out what version of Windows 7 I have.  Can you directt me ?

Thank you for confirming the operating system. As you have service pack 1 installed along with Windows 7 PC, our latest version of AVG programs are compatible with it. You can install our all AVG products updated version without any issues. If you have any clarification, please do let us know.
