Since upgrading to AVG Full protection, I am experiencing a problem with my HP Omen mouse. It is being disabled in the Task Manager - Startup menu. As a result, my button customisations don't work.
I can change the setting to "enabled", but this only survives one reboot. At the next session, it will again be disabled.
The AVG is the only known change, so Occam's Razor suggests it is the cause of the problem. Bit what's the solution? I've tried reinstalling the mouse driver, to no effect.

Appreciate your efforts & technical knowledge in working towards fixing the issue, Roger. Usually, the programs hibernated by AVG TuneUp while optimizing will wake when you attempt to access the respective app. If issue persists, you an ignore the program from hibernating in future scans.
Additionally, we'd suggest you to restart the computer once after reverting the changes in future. Please monitor the status & let us know the outcome.
It seems to be related to the "Background and startup programs": the mouse management was being put to sleep. Waking it did not reactivate the personalisation. I have tried "ignoring" it, to see if that will solve the problem.
