Since a recent update I appear to have Windows Security operating as well as AVG. The result is a slowing down of the PC. Should I be running both? if not how do I turn off Windows Security?

If it is Windows 10, then please follow the below steps to turn off windows security:
Select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security > Virus & threat protection > Manage settings (or Virus & threat protection settings in previous versions of Windows 10).
Switch Real-time protection to Off.

Thank you but very strange I have gone to Virus Threat protection but there is no "Manage settings" available and therefore no "off" button" My version of Windows 10 is 20H2.

Thank you for your prompt reply. There is no off button for Windows Security. Am I ok to uninstall?
