Some of our users are facing this issue and we've already reported it to our developer's team. AVG is aware of this issue. Our AVG developers are presently working on it to fix it, please be assured that we are working to correct it as soon as possible.
In this meanwhile, please try reinstall the Video downloader extension using the below steps and let us know the status.
1. Open AVG Secure Browser > go to Menu (3 dots icon in the top right corner) > More tools > Extensions.
2. Enable Developer mode.
3. Re-enable Video Downloader, then close the AVG Secure Browser & restart it.
If you still face the same issue, please uninstall and reinstall the AVG Secure Browser and check the status.

I Have been downloading videos from YouTube via the AVG Video Downloader but recently, the download button disappeared and/or no longer allows me to download videos from YouTube.
I did also: Opened AVG Secure Browser > Clicked on the 3 dots on the top right > Extensions > Developer mode and checked whether the Video downloader is enabled and Clicked on Details. Also,
Opened AVG Secure Browser > Clicked on the 3 dots on the top right > Selected Settings > Clicked on the About AVG Secure Browser on the left pane > Checked for updates and relaunched.
