I have ran AVG repair as suggested but the issue still persists.
Any other solution?
I have installed AVG AntiVirus (17.7.3032) inside a Windows 7 Professional virtual machine (using VMWare Player).
Firewall prevents downloading from the internet, and thus updating is not allowed.
Each time I start my guest windows, after 5-10 minutes max. it gives me the BSoD.
Doing some investigations, I found out that the root cause is avgVmm.sys.
My guess is that it has something to do with not being able to update. Not sure and cannot verify because I cannot find a settings to disable auto-update.
Any possible solution to solve this issue?
I have uninstalled AVG from the Virtual Machine and it has been stable since then without any issues.
