AVG VPN and GTA 5 online

Ever since yesterdays (7th Dec 2022) update I can no longer join GTA 5 online while AVG VPN is connected, any solutions or advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks.


You say I've requested to cancel my subscription, i wasn’t aware I'd asked to do this ? I’m confused?
 
As to your request of “do i receive ay error messages while playing GTA 5 online” the answer is no i do not, the problem is GTA 5 online will not let  me connect to the online version, this only started happening after AVG VPN updated itself yesterday the 7th Dec, any ideas to correct this would be great, thank you.
 
(Please find the attached screen shots of the only 2 messages I receive when trying to connect to online, and yes i am already signed in to social club and there is no there are no technical difficulties with it either)

We apologize for the miscommunication regarding cancellation.
Firstly, please try connecting to one of the "Torrenting" servers available in your AVG Secure VPN program.
Secondly, enable 'Mimic' VPN protocol in your AVG Secure VPN program by following the below steps:
Open AVG Secure VPN > Menu > Settings > Protocols > Choose Mimic.
If the issue still persists after following the above instructions, please let us know.
