Meanwhile, please try connecting to different servers (locations) available in AVG Secure VPN to check if it helps (Open AVG Secure VPN - Change location - Choose different location)
Alternately, you can restart the computer once to check.

Whenever I put the VPN on, it blocks my internet and tells me I am not connected to the internet. If I switch it off, I can immediately connect. I have looked online and done what it says in the AVG screen (ie tell it that VPN is trusted) but when I go to switch VPN back on, it has a different sequential number, which AVG does not recognise as trusted and I go back to square 1. It is really beginning to hack me off as I do like and need to use the VPN option. Help!
