AVG VPN blocks internet connection

With secure pin turned off internet and e mail (outlook 2010) works perfectly. As soon as secure pin is turned on internet fails to connect (times out) e mail displays receiving error Dx800CCCDF connection to server was interrupted. With internet connected as soon as secure pin is turned on session freezes.
this appears to be the same problem reported by Peter Anderson turning OFF enhanced fire wall allows connection to be made no problem obviously a program clash between pin and enhanced fire wall is there a fix for this ?

Hi James,

We'll certainly help with your issue.

I request you to change to different optimal location in AVG Secure VPN and check if you're able to access internet.

Also, I suggest you to disable enhanced firewall in AVG Internet Security and enable AVG Secure VPN and let us know which AVG program is causing the issue.

Keep us posted.

Hi Sarath
Changing to different location does not cure the problem.
Turning off enhanced fire wall allows Secure Pin to work and internet connections are all ok .
Turn enhanced fire wall back on and internet connection fails.
Turn off Secure Pin and turn on Enhanced fire wall internet connections are all OK
It appears that Enhanced Fire wall and Secure Pin switched on together causes the problem

I appreciate your efforts, James.

To check this further, I have sent an email with the steps to connect to our remote experts.

Please check the email and follow the instructions to start the remote session.
