AVG VPN blocks my outgoing email from 3rd party app

Hi Micro,

This isn't the usual behavior of AVG program. Let us work towards fixing the issue.
Connect the VPN to a different location and check you are able to send the email.

I am unable to send outgoing emails from my 3rd party app using Gmail.  If I was to turn off my VPN, the outgoing email works.  please assist. 

Failed to send the mail, reason : 534-5.7.14
