Have you tried reinstalling the AVG Secure VPN application to check with the issue?

If so, then follow the below steps to restart the secure VPN services and then check if VPN connects:

1. Click on "windows" key and "R" simultaneously and you will get the run command, type "services.msc" in the text field and click on OK.
2. Check for AVG Secure VPN services.
3. Click on Restart.

In case if the issue still persists then please let us know to help you further.

Hi,
I have two computers with AVG secure VPN installed, both windows 10. No other FW or VPN in use. The other PC, no problem. This PC told me that lisense are good, but refuse to connect to any VPN locations. I`ve reinstalled VPV to latest release. Try Ethernet connection to my router and wifi. I have no problem without VPN (Cable 250/250MBs). The other PC working. Why will not this PC connect to VPN ?  The only difference (this is Enterprise), the other Home (both on Private network, Both AVG FW

Hi,
I tryed that as you se " installed VPV to latest release. ", and  stop/start the services. VPN could not activate new configuration (Proxy, FW, up to AVG, right), so what to do.? Windows Home vs. Enterprise cause a lot of problems. I had the same issues with my NAS (WDmycloud). Ethernet/WIFI, the same. AVG FW OFF, the same, Works fine on my Win10 Home computer.

Hi there,
AVG TAP adapter was disabled. I enabled this and now it worked 100%. Changed DNS to google dont make any changes.

Do you mean AVG Secure VPN is turned on and working fine after enabling AVG TAP adapter?

Yes, that solved my issues. With this adapter disabled you got "Connection Error" to any location.

Lasse, we need to escalate the case to our senior team. In order to escalate the case we need collect the system logs to analyse the case.
