AVG VPN is slowing down my glassfiber connection with about 60 Mb/s

I did that but the speed was about 100 mbs slower then normal. I think i wil shut my VPN.

The VPN slows down my internet speed with about 60 Mb/s. When i switch of the VPN i have my normel speed. What could be the problem.

Hi Rob.
You may experience a slower internet connection when using AVG Secure VPN. This is because a VPN encrypts traffic and data before sending it to a server. Depending on the distance and capacity of the server, this process may cause a slightly slower, but safer, internet connection. But it should not be phenomenal.
You could try connecting to a different VPN server by clicking 'Change location' to verify the situation.

To look into this further, please share us the screenshot of the speed test done before & after the AVG Secure VPN was enabled.
