AVG VPN keeps disconnecting after PC wakes from sleep

I’ve noticed that sometimes after my PC wakes up from sleep, AVG Secure VPN doesn’t reconnect properly. It still looks like everything is running normally, but I have to disconnect and connect again manually.

Has anyone else experienced this on Windows? Is there a setting that can make the VPN reconnect automatically after sleep, or is this just a known issue?

Would appreciate any suggestions.

This sounds like it could be related to how AVG VPN reconnects after the PC resumes from sleep. Checking the VPN’s automatic connection settings and restarting the VPN service after wake-up may help, especially if the connection works normally before the computer goes to sleep.
