This setting seems to have fixed it:
Ensure 'Automatically when connected to the internet' is enabled.

Exclude Trusted network was already checked

Hopefully this was the issue.

Please check if the below settings are enabled on your program :
Open AVG Secure VPN - Menu - Settings - Network security - Ensure 'Automatically when connected to the internet' is enabled.
Also, check if 'Exclude trusted network' is unchecked & let us know.

I saw previous posts and it was noted I needed to enter my own to get assistance.
When my pc wakens or restarts I have to manually start my vpn.  Most of the time it will take 30 seconds or more, then say no connection is possible and I have to start it manually again.

Running windows 10 on hp laptop 8GB memory. All latest patches should be on.
