Hi Wojciech,
We're glad to clarify this for you.
AVG Secure VPN helps us to mask the IP address of the computer & make it to pose in a different region to bypass geolocation restrictions.
Hence, this could be the possibility. However, you can try excluding the server from AVG Secure VPN.
However, we suggest you to disconnect AVG Secure VPN on the device to check whether it allows you to communicate with the network computer before troubleshooting.
Hello,
I subscribed to have not problematic vpn service. I installed client on two devices, on one of them (server) I have running application which I want use on my second device. Sadly after I put IP and port of first computer to web browser of my second, nothing is showing up. I even tried to switch off firewalls.
Is it possibie to make devices conneceted to "see" each other or this is just "secure" connection to the world??
Regards,
Wojceich
We're afraid as there isn't an option in AVG Secure VPN for the device discovery.
Would you be so kind to clarify whether the devices in your network are able to communicate with each other when connected through AVG Secure VPN?
If not, please elaborate on what do you refer to local network or let us know how you communicate with other devices in network.
Thanks for the answer. I tested my machines within local network and everything works.
Please just answer, is it possible to make both computers visible for each other using AVG VPN?
I see that after connection is established on both devices, IP address are in the same range so teoretically it should work.
Regards
Wojciech
