AVG VPN never worked - it kills my internet connection

I am having the exact same thing, as soon as I turn off vpn all connection is stopped, and even when i turn it back on, nothing!!  can you tell me your solution or did u leave.

i have uninstalled and used the cleaner tool several times to no avail.  managed to get back up and running and turned vpn as it is only a trial and back to square one.

If I uninstall all works perfectly, reinstall avg and all stops again. this is a repepative loop.

Hello Femke,

I understand the inconvenience.
It would be better, if you attach the screenshot in your next reply.

Hello dear people,

I bought AVG + VPN a few days ago. Today I saw that you had to manualy turn on the VPN and after I did, my internet connection was gone.

In the link above you can see, that my regular LAN gives internet and the VPN does not. Somehow they won't work together, they don't connect?

Is there something I have to change myself? DNS server? Do I have to enter the VPN as an exception? Windows firewall is offline, AVG has control over the privacy and internet security.

I tried the online chat service from AVG, but I think they didn't understand my problem.

Please help! I want my privacy! Especially now that I paid for it :D

Thank you for the advice. Reinstalling has not solved the problem however.
