I am running WIN 10 PRO with AVG Ultimate. I agreed to the free trial of VPN a few days ago. I switched off the VPN last night and now my internet connection is not working. I switched VPN on again – still the same result. I have disabled AVG in the sys tray – still same result.
I have removed AVG with clear tool and internet is working perfectly. I did a reinstall from fresh – Internet stops working. Diagnosis says an unknown proxy. I have removed AVG several times and reinstalled. Still same problem. My internet is fine across all other devices. As soon as I remove AVG and restart all works fine.
What is going on? Has there been an update?

I have the issue now with all AVG – I have turned off VPN and lost all connectivity. Turned back on and still no connectivity. Uninstalled VPN – still no connection. removed AVG and everything works perfectly
