AVG VPN none active

My subscription is on going. But I can not activate my product. I think this error happened after the last update. What should I do. I have not been using the product for 2 weeks.

I apologize to hear that you are experiencing issues with activation AVG Secure VPN. To activate your product with the subscription, you need to log in to your AVG MyAccount. If the product is already installed and you are not connected to MyAccount please follow these steps:

Double-click the AVG icon on your desktop to open AVG management console (formerly known as AVG Zen).
Click Connect in the top-right corner of the screen, then click Log in to an existing account.
Type your email address and the password you created for your AVG MyAccount during the purchase, and click Log in. 

Now:
I already did what you wrote. Program installed. I logged in with my user profile. But there is a cross on the "secure VPN" icon. I click twice and it is not active. How can I send you a screenshot. I have 8 more months for my membership. I use the "Internet security" service without any problems.
