AVG VPN not responding after Windows 10 upgrade

My machine had Windows 8.1 and I recently had it upgraded to Windows 10 Home... but now my AVG VPN isn't responding. The "pop up" says it's a technical issue.

Please click on the restart service button and check on your issue once.
If the issue still persists please uninstall and reinstall AVG Secure VPN using the below article and check on the issue.
