And once again, the problem is back. Having removed and reinstalled the VPN, it worked fine for a few hours.
But now I'm going round the CAPTCHA loop again and again. Clearly, the "hotfix/update patch" has not done the trick.
I am unable to use the VPN except for "bookmarked" sites. I get caught up in a CAPTCHA loop - being asked to tick all those fire hydrants or bicycles. Every time I complete one, it loops back to the "prove you're not a robot" start page. If I turn off the VPN, all works normally.
AVG online help took control of my PC and reinstalled the VPN package, Things went well for a day or so, but now it's happened again.
Can anyone suggest an alternative to choosing a different provider?

In Win 10 apps, there is no "modify" option, only removal. How do I reinstall after removal?
