AVG VPN showing as installed but not active in subscriptions

Hi,
In the AVG window under "My subscriptions", AVG VPN is not showing as active but has an option to "switch to this subscription". When I click this, it comes up with an unexpected error occurred". I just want to know that the VPN is active and working. It does show as installed though. Can you please help? 
AVG Internet security, AVG Tune up and AVG password protection are all showing correctly as active.
