Avg VPN Wont connect


hi RanjaniThanks for the kind offer of remote assistance. I just need to ask something before I use it though.
Apart from not working,  my VPN is now telling me that I only have a free trial…although my subscription is until 28th April 2021 
Shall I still use remote assistance then>> ?

I have a problem with my VPN im afraid. When I activate it I get a red flag and on it is written "Cannot establish a connection". My Internet connection is fine.

Remote Assistance worked, and I am now all fixed. Im ashamed at myself because it took the engineer about 30 seconds to sort it out… maybe if I had struggled a bit more I may have done it… anyway, thanks for all your help and pointing me in the right direction for assistance.

I have done all the things you suggest, and my next step is to "change DNS settings"…and if this fails try to reinstall the software.
My dear friend, I hate to say that up to now I have tried hard but have mental health issues and im starting to get a bit confused because I have BiPolar Disorder you see and sometimes I get things all out of proportion.I am also an old guy of 71 and this slows my thinking too.  All the steps I took was very good for me, but I dont even know what DNS Server means hahaha  and uninstalling and reinstalling scares me because I have tried previously but got lost…
Can I respectfully ask if I am allowed to get remote assistance for this please? AVG have very kindly allowed this for me in the past, and I am embarrassed to ask again, but if I dont I shall be stuck you see. I hope you understand Ranjani, and thank you for all you do for me.
