I request you to install the AVG Internet Security again. To install your AVG Internet Security Unlimited program, please follow the instructions as mentioned in this article: http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Download-and-install-AVG-Protection .
Please click on "Menu–>Settings–>Components. To the right click on "Customize" of Firewall.
Click on "Policies", to the right scroll down to click on "System Rules"
Please enable the first option "Enable windows file and printer sharing" and click on Ok.
Next step, click on "Network Profiles" which is below policies and to the right change the profile from Public to "Private.
If the issue persists, do let us know.
AVG internet security blocks SHARPDESK from sending scans to any computers that have AVG installed. I have had a tech over here and the Sharpdesk works fine when we uninstall AVG. Its is not the driver for the scanner. Any routines to make it work or is it possible to change something in AVG so that it works?
