Hello William,
Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Have you tried booting your PC into Safe mode?
If not please try it by following the instructions mentioned in this link: http://avgread.me/1JwmD6g and if you are in safe mode try uninstalling AVG and then log into Windows normally.
Did you create a system restore point for your Windows?
Hello Keser,
We are sorry for the delay in responding. To fix the issue, we suggest you try using the "Disable Early Launch Anti-Malware Protection" option http://www.howtogeek.com/107511/how-to-boot-into-safe-mode-on-windows-8-the-easy-way/. We also suggest you to try repairing the boot issues with the Windows 10 installation media. Thank you.
I am having the same issue - I am completely blocked from booting Windows 10.
I renamed ALL the .sys files .old as instructed … causing another startup error as the avgboota.sys file is missing
I need a way to bypass AVG at startup so I can use my PC!
Next thing I knew, there was a black background with some text on it (which seemed very similar to the Linux startup log). I read the text, which said something along the lines of "Watch Dog Initialization [some other lines] finished". I searched it up, and had found that AVG Watch Dog had prevented me from accessing my computer.
Several sources have said that AVG should put my PC back in good shape, so I found a way of disabling AVG, described here. I successfully renamed all files to *.old files (using the Windows recovery command prompt instead of the AVG Rescue CD) and restarted the PC, expected the problem to be fixed. It was not.
I went back to the Windows command prompt to check the all of the *.sys had remained as *.old files. All of them had, except avgboota.sys, which seemed to had respawned from nowhere.
I have also tried changing C:\Program Files (x86)\AVG to C:\Program Files (x86)\AVG.old, but still no such luck.
I want a solution to this problem, preferable without having to start from a clean install of Windows.
I have no system restore points unfortunately.

I am having the same issue ,too
Got stucked while boot
Phase 0 : Starting Watch Dog Initialization
Phase 0 : Loading Config…(roots krnl, setup)
Phase 0 : Pre initialization events
Phase 0 : Creating Watch Dog dynamic key list.
Phase 0 : subsystems initialization.
…
I used AVG Rescue CD to mount disk and rename all sys files that in the drivers folder with the name start from avg*** to ".old" files, but after reboot, "avgboota.sys" have been recovered(maybe by win10 auto fix services). "avgboota.old" is existed, too. other sys files stay remain with ".old".
and yes I've tried to enter safe mode already, It turns into a black screen with no cursor and any other icons, just black screen signals (my monitor did not enter sleep mode).same situation with Mr.William Lee
I've tried these, too .to boot and press SHIFT along with F8, It stucked on the watch dog text screen as before
system info:

Thank you for trying it out and we appreciate your efforts so far. Could you please try to use the AVG Rescue CD once to rename the .sys files completely?
