AVG Web and Email Disabled - Removal Tool Overheats Processor

I tried both removal and clear tool. When it asked for safe mode I have done that. No hope… Sorry for short temper. I was drunk then and drinking now lol. Just been a avg fan for awhile and then I run into this.

Thanks for the help but I already did that. It seems this tool draws in way too much resources. I'm a pc technition and built my own when I was 13. And work for Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield. I install this stuff on a yearly bases with them. Seems avg has gone to sh*t with software.

Hi. Long time avg free user. I can't get avg "web and email" to enable. I read about the repair shit and did that and it restarted and nothing worked. Now I heard about a avg removal tool. My current pc is in the shop so I'm using a old laptop. The removal tool is over heating my processor and shutting it down. I can run the latest and greatest programs and games yet it does this. I've even stuck it next to a fan and had it blowing in cool air in the air intake vents. Nothing else is running when I do this and even close out processes and services that don't need to be running. Wtf did you guys do to avg to fuck it up.

Even after both methods. I went to remove folders manually that the uninstall left. Directory, Program Data, App Data. Then did a clean install. No luck.

I understand this must be upsetting and I apologize for the inconvenience. I have sent you an email, please follow the email instructions to get in touch with the remote support. They will analyze the issue with AVG and fix it, free of cost.

Just by running AVG_Remover.exe. Asks if it can remove avg. Then says it can't find any avg processes or services. Then I run it anyway. I tried everything. Now when I try to uninstall avg. It gives me a error. "Unexpected Error" (Error Code: 0xe0010002)

Hello Gaven,

I understand this must be upsetting.
If the latest version of AVG Antivirus is installed, then use AVG Clear tool as mentioned (here) to remove its traces.
To install AVG Antivirus free, follow the steps as mentioned (here).
Keep us informed about the status.

To be sure, are you facing overheat issue when you run both AVG removal and Clear tool?
Does this happen only when the removal tools of AVG are running on your PC?

I'm starting to not care. Balasubramania.

Spent enough time on this. 3 hrs. 

I'd rather spend my free time as a slave to do me. Ya'know... Me...

Please do run AVG Clear tool which is available in the same article provided earlier.
Clear tool is the one that has to be used for removing the latest version of AVG.
Keep me informed about the status.
