AVG Web shield casue Chrome ERR_CERT_INVALID

Hello Teddy,
Thank you for contacting AVG Community Support.
We are sorry to know that. We'll check and help you out.
May I know whether you have tried accessing the site in a different browser?

Could you please confirm whether you have installed any Antivirus program other than AVG on your PC? If you are using anti-virus products on your computer in addition to AVG Antivirus and experience issues with malware detection or system performance, we strongly recommend uninstalling the conflicting product.
It is generally not recommended to use more than one security solution on a single system. They compete for resources, which may result in slowdowns, crashes, or no protection at all.

Also may I know whether you have updated your AVG Internet Security? If haven't then please use the below steps to do so and check the issue.
> Open the AVG user interface and click the Refresh icon next to Virus definition in the bottom-right corner of the main application screen.
> Wait while AVG checks for virus definition updates.
> When the update is complete, you see the message Virus definitions are up to date.
> You may need to restart your PC to complete the update. If prompted, click Restart Now to immediately reboot.

Thank you and keep us updated.

I installed AVG internet securitty in Windows 10. When I open the web shield function, and access https web (e.g. nike.com.hk). it cause Chrome ERR_CERT_INVALID due to the cert replaced to AVG. When I close web shield function, it use original cert and the web site show properly. Does it have any solution to solve it?

Thank you. After I updated the AVG Internet Security and restart the PC via the AVG console. The web browsing resumed to normal. Thanks

You're Welcome, Teddy.
Please feel free to reach us again if you need any other help with AVG.
Thank you.
