Okay, this started off last night when I just went for my dinner. I came back to a Windows message saying low disk space, which was odd as I had just cleared my disk of all my unwanted games and other crap... I open up TreeSize (I recommend you get this, it highlights all large storage on your drives) and set it to scan my C: Drive and it pops up with 498GB. This confuses me as I search deeper and deeper (I thought it was some dodgy program... Which it kind of was.) until I found windows_ie_ac_001 -> AC -> AVG Web Tuneup and Temp. And there it all was, an ENTIRE copy of my hard drive crammed in there. I left my PC on overnight as it took about 5-6 hours to do so but it crashed on 97% What a bugger. I started the deleting again after stopping all AVG services this time, went to college and came back to a nice clean C: Drive again! But not for long.
TWO HOURS later I got another warning. Low disk space... and the same damn thing has happened again and I don't like leaving my computer on all the time because it's not any kind of power saving super efficient computer. It sucks up a decent chunk of power.

If this is read by any AVG staff I want this fixing very soon because it is a very, VERY lengthy process and next time this happens I'm uninstalling this antivirus which I don't want to do because it's very easy to comply with and tells you what it has done with no hassle at all. All for free which is nice.
Please fix this issue soon.

Speak of the devil. The uninstall just crashed at about 5% into the process...

I must have spent a total of nearly 15 hours deleting these damn files. And the AVG uninstall process is taking even longer to do so for whatever reason. I'd rather it uninstalls the functioning parts that stop it from working (not any storage it has made up, maybe this can be a feature whilst ticking boxes on the uninstall process) and you can delete those bits yourself. I prefer to delete files manually because both times I've used other software to delete it for me, it has crashed somewhere in the 90's
