Hello Paula,
We regret for the inconvenience caused. We would request you to follow the instructions on the article https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en_US&urlName=AVG-Web-TuneUp-takes-up-available-disk-space to freeup the space occupied by the AVG WebTuneUp program.
Thank you.
Some months ago, my C: disk started getting full, until it eventually was completely full, with 0 bytes left. I tried to delete some videos, documents, pictures, even some programs, and 2 or 3 minutes later, it was full again. Once I deleted all of my videos, almost 50Gb. When I checked my disk 5 or so minutes later, I had 1 or 2Gb left. (It was really nice having to delete 50Gb of videos, and not even getting to use those 50Gb)
Yesterday, I decided to use Treesize to find out which folder or program was taking up all my space. These were the scan results:
After a quick search on Google, I found this: https://support.avg.com/answers?id=906b00000008svJAAQ
I believe it's the same problem. I've already uninstalled AVG and AVG Web TuneUp, but they left some folders in C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files (x86), which I deleted as well.
As you can see on the imagem above, it seems that that AVG Web TuneUp folder (C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Packages\windows_ie_ac_001\AC\AVG Web TuneUp) is occupying 234Gb of my disk's 286Gb. Shall I delete this folder? I even started the deleting process, but I stopped it because I was afraid I might have been deleting something important. Is it safe to delete the folder? If not, what am I supposed to do?
Thank you,
Paula Alves.
