I had to re-install AVG due to an add from PC Tuneup that kept appearing. Currently, I've uninstalled everything successfully except AVG Web tuneup which doesn't uninstall in the Control Panel. Thanks for helping!

Please go to the C drive and look for a folder "Program files (x86)", delete "AVG Web TuneUp" folder. Go to Start -> Control Panel.
Note: Click Settings first if Control Panel is not available in the Start menu.
Open (Programs) -> Programs and Features, or Add or Remove Programs.
Select AVG Web TuneUp in the list of programs.
Click the Change or Change/Remove button.
Click on Uninstall.
If you still see AVG Web TuneUp, please run AVG Remover tool in Safe mode : http://files-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe to remove AVG traces using AVG Remover tool.

I did but the program still shows in my Control Panel.

I don't understand. Do I delete Program files (x86) after I've started safe mode or are they 2 separate solutions?

We're sorry for the confusion, please do not delete the "Program files (X86) folder. Please follow the below instructions:
Please reboot your computer is Safe mode, click on the below link to show how to reboot in safe mode : http://avgread.me/1JwmD6g
Please go to the C drive and look for a folder "Program files (x86)", in "Program files (x86) folder, look for "AVG Web TuneUp" folder. Delete "AVG Web TuneUp" folder. (Do not delete any other folder)
