AVG WebShield feature prevents navigation in AVG Secure Browser

Hi Fil,

Thank you for your valuable time in writing this to us.
Initially, we'd like to clarify that there cannot be multiple antivirus on the same system, as they'd compete for resources.
If you've noticed any faulty module in the Event log, please share us the screenshot (https://bit.ly/3xuwYxa)of it for better clarity.

I have a PC with Windows 10. I have updated to the last version AVG Antivirus Free (21.6.3189, build 21.6.6446.682)  and  AVG Secure Browser (version 92.0.11264.133)

The issue is that AVG Secure Browser prevents navigation on web when the WebShield feature in AVG antivirus is enabled ("Timeout in access to pages" occurs).

Conversely, when WebShield feature is disabled, AVG Secure Browser works correctly.

It seems that WebShield prevents the communication between the browser and the network adapter.

The strage thing is that using Google Chrome and AVG Online security addon, on the same machine, navigation is possible also with WebShield feature enabled.

I have already tried (without success):
- to uninstall and install AVG and AVG Secure Browser;
- to uninstall ZoneAlarm;
- to check ZoneAlarm in order to verify if the firewall blocks any AVG component…

All these attempts did not solve the issue.

It seems that in my version of Windows 10, there is some kind of broken interface between AVG Secure Browser and AVG Antivirus, but I don't know where to look for, where are the logs and how the communication mechanism between AVG Secure Browser and AVG Webshield works

Therefore I am unable investigate further about the issue (for instance, by reading the error notification in Windows Event Log Viewer).

Can you help me ? Thanks in advance.
